Troupe Sekmet was formed in 2001 under the direction of Adina and Sativa and is based in Salt Lake City. It is a secondary troupe to Desert Journey Dance Company. It's members are Intermediate students who wanted the excitement and challenge of performing. They perform throughout the Salt Lake Valley, including Grecian Gardens, Meeting of the Tribes, and Kismet's Annual Bellydance Festival. They perform traditional style bellydance with an ethno-fusion flair!
