Nikia

Nikia has a broad background in performing arts. She began taking dance lessons at 3 years old. Nikia trained in Jazz, Modern and Classical Ballet, Gymnastics and baton. Combined with Nikia's extensive dance training she has also been involved in drama where she has won leading roles in several musical productions. Nikia has received many awards in recognition of her talent as a performer and choreographer. Nikia started belly dancing in 1998 with Mashara Rabia, where she was a member of Troupe Mashara Rabia. Nikia has also studied with Isis, Aja, Jamileh, Tina Sargent, Susana del Vecchio, Delilah, and many others. Nikia is director of the Whispering Sands School of Middle Eastern Dance. She currently offers instruction in modern and traditional belly dance.
